Sunday is Auction Day!


The 16th Annual Community Auction is this Sunday, April 30th at 1 pm at St. Patrick's gym. There is still time to clean out those closets, garages, basements and attics and donate or consign your unwanted items. Drop-off days for donated and consigned items are Thurs. & Friday April 27th & 28th -4 until 8 p.m. and Sat. April 29th -9 a.m. until 3 p.m. If you need help hauling items Main Street can help with that too. It is also time for the Community Auction Split the Pot Raffle. The tickets are $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. $1000 is the split for the winner. You may purchase your tickets at the following downtown locations: Centrue Bank, Main Street Momence, Off the Vine, & Pearson's Bordertown Bakery. Sponsors for the Community Auction are River Valley Auctions-Dan Loftus & Bill Phelps, Van Drunen Farms, WVLI, WIVR, WFAV, WYUR, and Republic Services. Main Street Board and Volunteers are asking for your help.  Clean out those attics, garages, basements and make some cash too.   You may also donate your items for the auction and help one of Momence's most successful not for profits in Kankakee County. This favorite fundraiser is this Sunday, April 30th at 1 p.m. at the Old St. Patrick's Gym, 200 N.
