Annual Auction Set


Debbie Lampley, co-owner of Off the Vine is shown with her Main Street Split the Pot tickets and is ready to sell them to the lucky winner. The cash prize will be between $800 and $1200 and will be given away on Sunday April 29th during Main Street's Community Auction. Debbie & Tony Lampley have expanded their business to include an Expresso Bar and lunch between 11:30 and 1:30 Monday through Friday. From Cafe lattes to cappuccinos to steamers and frappes too. A selection of smoothies are also on the menu. Their new hours are 6 am until 6 pm Monday thru Thursday, Friday 6 am until 10 pm and Saturday 10 am until 10 pm. Coffee, Tea, Wine or Split the Pot Tickets

The 17th Annual Community Auction  is this Sunday, April 29th at 1 pm at St. Patrick's gym.   There is still time to clean out those closets, garages, basements and attics and donate or consign your unwanted items.    Drop-off days for donated and consigned items are Thurs. & Friday April 26th & 27th,
4 until 8 p.m. and Sat. April 28th -9 a.m. until 3 p.m. If you need help hauling items Main Street can help with that too.  
It is also time for the Community Auction Split the Pot Raffle.  The tickets are $1 per ticket or 6 for $5.  $1000 is the split for the winner.  Off the Vine is a valued partner and will be selling Split the Pot tickets at their business.   Other valued downtown partners selling tickets are: Pearson's Bordertown Bakery, Apothecary Arts and Antiques, Municipal Bank, Sluggers Sports Bar, and Richard's Tap.   You may also purchase tickets at the Main Street Office.   Sponsors for the Community Auction are River Valley Auctions-Dan Loftus & Bill Phelps, Van Drunen Farms, WVLI, WIVR, WFAV, WYUR, and Republic Services.  Modern Woodmen will be providing a grant in conjunction with this favorite fundraiser to help fund beautification projects.  Main Street Momence...because downtown is everyone's neighborhood!
